Boat show season 2024
I’m packing my bags for Europe so that I can attend the Cannes Yachting Festival in France (Sept 10-15), but my first stop is Germany for a little announcement. I will come back and update this post as soon as they let me, but it’s all secrets for now.
In any case, the Cannes Boat Show is going to be a blast! I’ll be hanging with some of the coolest captains in one of the frenchest destinations. Do I need to pack a beret?? I’ve been filming boat reviews with Boattest.com and they are a BLAST! I’m not sure if I’m the right captain for the job yet, but I realize that I’m finally getting my dream of molesting ALL THE BOATS. It’s like pokemon, gotta catch em all! I should probably create a running list of every boat I’ve gotten to put my grubby hands on in this life. It really makes me happy to think about how long that list is, and that it will just keep growing!
It’s labor day and some folks say that’s the end of summer, but I’ve got a lot of good boating weeks left, so if you’ve got some boating places that I need to see or boater events to attend, let me know in the comments! It’s all leading up to my wildest time of the year, the ANNAPOLIS BOAT SHOWS.
This year, I’ll be at both the Power and Sail Shows, October 3-14th. There’s a few days off in there, but I’ll probably be around anyway, and I’m bringing my good buddy, Bradford Rogers from HowNottoSail.com, who is throwing another patreon party. Go check out his site for more details.
THE CALENDAR:
September 5: Dusseldorf (SHHHHH!!! GERMANY)

Okay, gotta get back to packing. Cheers!… but here’s a little hint about why I was and will be in Europe….
