Where to Find Captain Boomies at the 2026 Annapolis Sailboat Show

Where to Find Captain Boomies at the 2026 Annapolis Sailboat Show

The Annapolis Sailboat Show runs October 15 to 18, and I’ll be there all four days. (Power, sail, if it floats I’ve probably driven it. I’ve been professionally salty for 25 years.)

This year I’m part of Cruisers Creating Content, a crew of more than 60 boating channels flying in from all over the world. Forty-two of us have time at the booth, which means you can meet a ridiculous number of the people you watch on YouTube in one weekend.

And when I’m not at the creators’ booth, I’ll be hanging around the Windward Curl booth a lot. Windward Curl is my nautical curl care line, built for people whose hair has to survive salt, wind and humidity. (So, everyone at this show.)

Here’s every public event where you can come say hi, shake a hand, or watch me judge rum on the record.

Thursday, October 15

Cruisers Creating Content Block Party 5:00 to 7:00 PM, just behind the Annapolis Market House

Kick off the show with drinks, local Annapolis restaurants, and sailors from every corner of the map. It’s the easiest way to meet a pile of creators before the show crowds hit. Bring your crew. Bring your best story. Bring a story you’re slightly embarrassed about, those are better.

Friday, October 16

Meet me at the Cruisers Creating Content booth 12:00 to 1:00 PM

I’m sharing the booth with Lauren Landers, The Salty Cruisers, and The Pirate Princess. That’s a lot of personality for one tent. Come early.

Windward Curl BOOTH!!!!

This is where I’ll be between booth slots, all weekend. Come see the Windward Curl lineup: Seastate Gel, Squall, Tidal Cleanse and Second Sail Curl Refresher. If you’ve ever stepped off a boat looking like a startled sea urchin, we should talk. I have products. I have opinions. I have both in abundance.

Saturday, October 17

Meet me at the Cruisers Creating Content booth 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

This is the busy one. I’m at the booth with Sailing One Life, David Shih Sails, Vanishing Point and Sailing Machete, and SV Delos takes over right after us at noon. Plan accordingly.

Rum Overboard 2.0: live judging 3:30 to 4:30 PM, Yacht Basin, Party Central

Latitudes & Attitudes Magazine picked five finalist cocktails, and I’m one of the judges deciding which one wins. SeaPeople mixologist Logan Rowell mixes all five. I’m judging alongside Matt Rutherford of Ocean Research Project, Lauren Landers, Aiyana of The Pirate Princess Chronicles, and Brandon & Amber of Everyday Saturday.

The best part: once we crown the 2026 Rum Overboard Champion, they batch the winning cocktail and hand out samples to the crowd. So you get to find out if we actually know what we’re talking about. Samples are first come, first served. Get there early.

Sunday, October 18

Meet me at the Cruisers Creating Content booth 2:00 to 3:00 PM

Last call. I’m at the booth with Be the Captain, Lady K Sailing and The Salty Cruisers. The show closes at 5:00 PM on Sunday, so this is your last shot to come say hi.

A few tips before you go

  • Show hours are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM Thursday through Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday.
  • Booth slots run an hour, and the popular channels draw a line. Show up at the start of the slot, not the end.
  • The full booth schedule, with all 42 channels, is on the Annapolis Boat Shows Cruisers Creating Content page.
  • Wear shoes you can walk docks in all day. This is not a suggestion. This is a professional opinion.

If you see me wandering the docks or hanging around the Windward Curl booth, come say hi. I’ll be the one who looks like she’s evaluating everyone’s fender placement. (I am.)

Boat on.
